Based at our state of the art Glass manufacturing plant in Dandenong and reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager you will provide expertise on engineering projects. Your focus will be on supporting development projects, problem identification, design, cost estimation, resource management, CAPEX preparations, project planning and supervision during implementation and commissioning stages.
This exciting role offers you the responsibility of working in a team to strategically review plant issues and optimisations opportunities then design, develop and implement practical and effective solutions.
To be successful
We are looking for someone who is respected for their consultative style, has a strategic mindset and ability to achieve project excellence. You will be motivated by working in a team and be safety focused. Ideally you demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications in Manufacturing / Engineering
- 10 years Project Management experience preferably within industrial continuous manufacturing operations
- Computer literacy (Word and Excel) with exposure to SAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and engage key stakeholders
- Glass industry and LiSEC experience will be highly regarded.
