Uniting AgeWell are seeking Food Service Assistants to join the dynamic teams in the Eastern Region of Melbourne. The position will work closely with the chef to ensure the provision of high quality food and services for residents and will assist with the preparation and distribution of meals, washing dishes, and cleaning of kitchen areas.

The ideal candidates will be custom focused, reliable and adaptable, motivated and have the capacity to work well autonomously and in a team environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
  • Completion of a Food Handling Certificate
  • An understanding of resident’s rights, OH&S and the Food Safety Act
  • Experience in Food Services in Aged Care / Health
